Acts: The Good News of the Holy Spirit,
better known to us as Acts, is the story of the birth of the
church. In Acts, Jesus departs, the Spirit descends, and a dynamic
new faith is born. We meet St. Paul and travel with him on his
missionary journeys. We discover that the greatest acts of the
apostles are actually a result of the work of the Holy Spirit-the
conversion of hearts and lives everywhere.
Karen Mallozzi, Coordinator of Parish
Ministries, will facilitate the group. It will meet on Friday
afternoons, beginning December 6 at 2 pm in the Parker Room
located in the lower church. * The cost of the text is $8, checks
made out to St. Bridget Parish or participants may order their own
copy online (ISBN 978-0-8294-1448-6).

Bridget's Parish Information
“Jesus saw Mary weeping, and he saw how the people with
her were weeping also; his heart was touched and he was deeply moved.”
Parish Bereavement Ministry exists to support
parishioners who have lost loved ones through death by providing comfort
and consolation as well as practical assistance in planning a funeral.
St. Bridget Parish is looking for those who have learned to accommodate
their own grief, are good listeners, and are available and interested in
training for this important ministry.
