The Art of Faith

If you missed the beginning of this ten week series you may still sign up! Each evening is a stand-alone topic. We meet in the Rectory Meeting Room on the lower level – parking is in the Rectory parking lot. From the Vision of St. Helena by Veronese to The Lament Over the Dead Christ by Bellini, we will experience the Via Pulchritudinis- The Way of Beauty- that is a pathway to God. Through paintings, sculpture and poetry we will walk this Way. Contact Karen Mallozzi, Coordinator of Parish Ministries, to register. 508-875-6009 or kmallozzi@stbridgetparish.org

Honoring Our Veterans and Those Currently Serving

Once again, St. Bridget Parish would like to honor our Veterans in a special insert in the bulletin. Veteran’s Day is November 11. If you have a family member serving in the military please send or drop off a photo of them including their name, rank, and armed service or Coast Guard. They should be in by Tuesday, October 28. You may email information to bulletin@stbridgetparish.org

Bereavement Ministry
“Jesus saw Mary weeping, and he saw how the people with her were weeping also; his heart was touched and he was deeply moved.”  Jn 11:33

Parish Bereavement Ministry exists to support parishioners who have lost loved ones through death by providing comfort and consolation as well as practical assistance in planning a funeral.  St. Bridget Parish is looking for those who have learned to accommodate their own grief, are good listeners, and are available and interested in training for this important ministry.

To receive updates on training and formation of this ministry please contact Coordinator of Parish Ministries, Karen Mallozzi, at 508-875-6009 kmallozzi@stbridgetparish.org  or contact Msgr. Strahan.

Legion of Mary at Saint Bridget's
If you recite the rosary daily or would like to begin this lovely devotion, we invite you to become an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary at St. Bridget's.  Please contact the Rectory for more information.

Is There Anyone Sick Among You?
Never hesitate to call our parish priest to ask for prayer and the Sacrament of the Sick prior to surgery or when diagnosed with serious illness.

Hospital Stays
Please notify the Rectory at 508-875-5959 when you or a loved one are in the hospital. Unfortunately due to the HIPPA Laws the hospital can no longer notify us.
