The office of Faith Formation at St. Bridget Parish supports parents in passing along their Catholic faith to their children. We work most intentionally with families of children grades kindergarten through ten, offering regular classes, sacramental preparation, prayer, retreat, and service experiences. We are here to support you and your family in your faith journey, diving deeper into relationship with Jesus. Reconciliation & Holy Communion Preparation
In order to be prepared for celebrating the sacraments of Reconciliation & First Holy Communion you need to have had 2 years of immediate preparation (gr. 1 & 2), either through a Catholic School or a parish program.
Resources to help with preparation for First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion at home:
- Act of Contrition – important to be able to recite this prayer.
- Examination of conscience for children – what will you say when you meet with the priest at First Penance.
- Parents – you can help prepare your children with these 5 steps.
- Sharing family meals, offering a prayer of thanksgiving, and reminding your family about the last supper, and how Jesus is bread for out souls.

Confirmation Preparation
In order to be prepared for celebrating the sacrament of Confirmation you need to have had 2 years of immediate preparation (gr. 9 & 10), either through a Catholic School or a parish program.

Volunteers are the heart of our parish!
Has the Lord been tugging at your heart? Is he asking YOU to take a leap of faith, and serve him in a rewarding, energizing ministry? Join us on the Faith Formation Team!
-Catechists/small group leaders
-Aides
-Security
-Muscle Crew (set up/break down rooms, distribute supplies, set up hospitality, etc.)
-Prayer Team (intentionally pray for the ministry and those involved. You'll be remembered at every Faith Formation gathering!)
