Visits to the sick and homebound are made by trained and CORI passed (background check) Pastoral Visitors who bring the Eucharist and the prayers of the parish to those at Framingham Union Hospital, Countryside Nursing Home or to their own home in Framingham. If a family member of yourself would like to receive a visit contact the Pastoral Visitor office at 508-875-6009.
Training for Pastoral Visitors is offered each fall at St. Bridget Parish and also available through the Pastoral Center in Braintree.

The Food Pantry serves the needy in Framingham with grocery items to supplement their weekly food requirements. Every year at Thanksgiving and Easter time, St. Bridget Parish conducts a food drive to assist our own Food Pantry. Information is disseminated through the weekly bulletin and posters at the church entrances. Volunteers are needed for the following: Promoting the food drive, receiving food at the food truck and being available at the church entrances for monetary donations. Parishioners have been most generous over the years through their contributions of food, money and volunteering. Please join our group, and assist us in this brief but important ministry.

During the months of November and December, parishioners are invited to join a program, which helps children of those who benefit from our Food Pantry. Wrapped donations are collected, organized, sorted and distributed to the less fortunate during the week before Christmas.
