For Catholics, participating in the Sacraments are an important part of their religious journey. At Saint Bridget Parish, we encourage parishioners to actively participate in their spiritual life. Our Parish community rejoices with you and your family upon the birth of your child. Baptism is the first step in your child’s faith journey. We are delightful you have chosen Saint Bridget Parish for this important milestone in their life. We are pleased to assist you in preparing for the Baptism of your child. We are committed to making this celebration a very meaningful one for you and your family. Baptisms take place the third Saturday of each month at the 12noon, and are limited to 6 families per ceremony. Please take a moment to read Fr. Mark’s Baptism letter to all families.

The Saint Bridget Parish community extends their congratulations upon your upcoming wedding. We are delighted you have chosen our church to celebrate your love and commitment to your intended spouse. This is a very happy and sacred moment in your life. We want to do our best to fulfill the joy this day will bring to you both. Arrangements should be made with one of the priests at least one year prior to the intended date of marriage so that all requirements can be completed.

Marriage Preparation:
Since Marriage is a lifelong commitment, appropriate preparation is needed. All couples intending to be married at Saint Bridget Parish must attend a Marriage Preparation Workshop. This workshop provides an opportunity for couples to discuss issues of communication, family life, intimacy and role expectations. You are required to attend one of these sessions. The Archdiocese of Boston provides a marriage preparation workshop called Transformed in Love. Visit the Archdiocese of Boston’s website for upcoming Transformed in Love workshops.

Pastoral Visitors
Visits to the sick and homebound are made by trained and CORI passed (background check). Pastoral Visitors who bring the Eucharist and the prayers of the parish to those at Framingham Union Hospital, or to their own home in Framingham. If a family member or yourself would like to receive a visit contact the rectory at 508-875-5959. Training for Pastoral Visitors is offered each fall at St. Bridget Parish and also available through the Pastoral Center in Braintree.
Is there anyone sick among you?
Never hesitate to call our parish priest to ask for prayer and the Sacrament of the Sick prior to surgery or when diagnosed with serious illness. Please notify the Rectory at 508-875-5959 when you or a loved one are in the hospital. Unfortunately due to the HIPPA Laws the hospital can no longer notify us.
